Monitor changes

Changing serials of your monitor using CRU utility.

1. Download CRU utility: Click here to download.

2. Extract the files on Desktop.

3. Run CRU.exe as admin.

4. Press Edit on each monitor profile and do following:

   1. ID Serial #: Change the last 4 digits to something random.

   2. Serial Number: Change the last 4 digits to something random.

      1. If empty, just keep it empty.

5. Repeat this with all other monitor profiles.

   1. If the same monitor has multiple profiles, ensure its same digits you change!

6. After all are changed exit application & restart your computer.

Troubleshooting

If your unable to boot after doing changes or having a black screen then do this:

1. Unplug your monitor(s).

2. Restart Computer, wait a minute

3. Plug in the monitor again, then restart pc again

4. If still black screen you might need to repeat this a couple of time or change the port your using.

If your back in Windows please ensure in CRU that serials are still changed if not please disable G-Sync or Free-Sync on your monitor and graphics settings then repeat the steps.
